NOTICE: 

To register a student in Hamilton Township please send an email to: [email protected]

Please include the child's name, date of birth, parent name, street address & phone number.

Instructions will be sent out with the link to online registration. 

Registrations will be completed by appointment only. 

To transfer your student OUT of the district, please click here to complete the Online Transfer Form.


Our Secure Document Dropbox is available 24 hours per day.  You can place copies of your documents to complete registration in an envelope and drop them in the box located at the Board of Education Office Entrance Door #5.

Preschool registration for 4 year olds and a lottery for 3 year olds is held annually in February. Once the registration/lottery is closed, parents may place their child on a wait list.


- Proof of Residency (lease, deed, property tax bill, mortgage statement or affidavit of living arrangement)

- If submitting an affidavit of living arrangement you must bring a copy of owner or leasee's current lease, deed, mortgage statement, etc.

- 2 forms of ID (1 must have a photo) For the Parent - recent utility bill, driver’s license, voter ID card, pay stub, bank statement {document must have current Hamilton Township Address)

- Birth Certificate for the student

- Recent (within the year) well visit/Universal Health Form completed by doctor (a print out from a patient portal is acceptable)

- List of all immunizations for the student

- Transfer Card (If the student attended a NJ public school prior to the current school year)


IMPORTANT REMINDER:

It is important to keep your address current for mailings and transportation purposes.

If you move (or have moved), you must notify the Registration Office and provide proof of residency. 

2 forms of id (1 with a photo) are mandatory

One of the following is needed:
-Copy of your new lease 
-Property deed 
-Mortgage statement
-Property tax bill

Please place the copy in an envelope and label it "Change of Address" 
List the names of ALL students who share the new address
Place it in the drop box located at 1876 Dr. Dennis Forman Drive (BOE & Registration Entry Area). 

No change (to transportation) can be made without proof of address. 

If you are in the home of another and your name is not on the lease:
Print the Affidavit of Living Arrangement
Complete it and have it notarized and present it with the residency document from the list above.
You must bring a copy of owner or leasee's current lease, deed, mortgage statement, etc.
