Preschool Registration

2025-2026 PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION & LOTTERY


Students currently attending preschool in the Hamilton Township School District will automatically move up for the 25-26 school year.


All parents wishing to enroll their four year old in the Preschool 4 class for September 2025 must do so between 2/3/25-3/7/25.  

(Child must be 4 by October 1, 2025 - no exceptions)  Registrations must be complete (no outstanding documents as of the deadline).  Four year old's who are not registered during this time will be placed on a waiting list. 

All parents wishing to enroll their preschool 3 aged child must complete the appropriate online lottery form during the open lottery period. 

(Child must be 3  by October 1, 2025 - no exceptions)

 

For the lottery -

Student name, date of birth and contact information for the parent/guardian will be collected so that students can be entered into an enrollment lottery.  Priority for preschool is given to four year old's (4 on or before October 1, 2025), with the remaining seats assigned to three year old's selected in the lottery. Those students not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waitlist. 

**Three year old students who are seeking enrollment after the lottery is complete will be added to the end of the waitlist.  Student names/contacts are added in the order in which they are received.**

The lottery will be conducted on March 12, 2025 and parents will be notified via email no later than March 17, 2025.  Information and the online registration link will be shared with those selected.  Parents must then complete the full registration process by the deadline of April 11, 2025 or risk losing their seat to a waitlist student.  A completed registration includes providing ALL necessary documentation and signed district forms as well as the electronic registration. 
If you plan to enter your child in the lottery, you should reach out now to your pediatrician to get a copy of a recent well-visit and all immunizations.  A well-visit is valid for one year from the date of the examination.  Children in need of an annual well visit, should be scheduled soon so that documentation can be obtained prior to any deadlines.  


Students selected will also need to have a copy of their proof of residency in the district (lease, deed, property tax bill or mortgage statement), Two forms of ID (at least one with a photo and one with the current address on it), the child’s state birth certificate (no hospital souvenir certificates are accepted), the well visit/NJ Universal Health Form, proof of immunization, and preschool packet forms.

 

No documents for three year old's will be accepted prior to the notification of selection via the lottery process.

 

Once the registration/lottery is closed, parents may place their child on our waitlist.
