LESSON Groups and LESSON Rotation are Below
NOTE: Band & CHOIR meet every Tuesday and Thursday during the school day - bring your instruments on those days plus the day you have lessons or after school band.
What do we do in lessons? Students will work on their concert band music AND complete weekly studies from a lesson book. Lessons are taught in groups based on the instrument and student skill level. How does the lesson schedule work? Every student is assigned to a lesson group, and the group is assigned a day of the week. For example, if you look below, you'll see that all of the Clarinets meet on Fridays. They will always meet on Friday. The challenge is that the PERIOD will change from week to week, so that they don't miss the same class each Friday. To see the weekly rotation chart, look below the table below.

Rotating Lesson Schedule - as stated, you will always have your lesson on a particular day of the week, Monday through Friday; however, the period of that lesson will change. The lesson can be Periods 1, 2, 3, 7, or 8 (the others conflict w/ the lunch schedule). So what you must do is find your Lesson Group #, figure out which week we are in (that is announced during the morning announcements every Friday and Monday, as well as posted outside the music room), and you can see which period you have lessons. When you check your lesson time you can also see which periods Band will be meeting that week. 2008 - 2009 LESSON GROUPS TBA
