Congratulations to these students for their selection into

the 2009-2010 region honors choir and band ensembles:

Maggie Madamba, Essence Pittman, Emily Hanna, Meagan DePaul, Quincy Hughes &
Brandon Warren
–selected as members of the All South Jersey Jr. High Festival Chorus, they performed in the 180 voice chorus for two sold out shows in February 2010 . 

Who will it be?

 these 6th grade vocalists represented the Davies School as members of the 2009 South Jersey Elementary Festival Chorus, performing at Lindenwold HS in March 2010 .

Who will it be? – these outstanding musicians, earned membership in the South Jersey Jr. High Concert Band, performing at EHT Middle School in March 2010 .

Who will it be?

 –  6th grade students selected for membership in the 2010 South Jersey Elementary Honors Band performing in May at Williamstown High School Performing Arts Center.

Check out our new Band groupings and Lesson Groups on the Concert Band page and Instrumental Lessons page - we have divided the band into two groups to better meet the needs of our students and to minimize their absence from classes.  Each group will now come to one rehearsal a week during school rather than 2.  Everyone will still come out of class for a lesson each week as well.  Tuesdays will be the Group A Band / Thursday will be the Group B band in-school rehearsals.  We will still have afterschool rehearsals for both groups as well as rehearsals with the combined ensemble - the Davies School Super Duper Concert Band!
