Day 13 Listening Lesson - Aesthetic Music Response Students will listen to 4 select pieces of Instrumental (non-vocal) music; the students will complete a writing task based on varied criteria for each selection; the students will write on-task and then reflect, discuss, and compare/contrast their interpretations  1.1, 1.2, 1.3,  1.4,  1.5 
Day 14 Creative Improvisation - Individual Expression Students will perform polyrhythmic ostinati in small groups via pitched and non-pitched percussion               Students will then create/write their own 2-bar rhythmic ostinati                                                               students will perform their work individually for the class and combine individuals to create new rhythm sets / performance ensembles  1.1, 1.2, 1.3,  1.4,  1.5 
Day 15 Creative Improvisation - Group Project Students will perform polyrhythmic ostinati in small groups via pitched and non-pitched percussion Groups of 5 will then be split off to create/write their own unique group composition                                   groups will then perform their work for the class and critique each other  1.1, 1.2, 1.3,  1.4,  1.5
