Letters From Children on Favorite Things in Camp

My Favorite part of camp was meeting new people and seeing my friends. I liked hanging out with the counselors in the pool. I liked doing the projects and Mr. Jim was and still is funny and nice. I wish this camp would never end. The only bad thing was when we went in the gym and I hit my knee. Today is going to be so much fun. Devon, Julia, Liz, David and I are doing a play, I can’t wait. Well I’ve got to go bye. My favorite counselor was Mr. Jim!!

One thing I liked about this camp is when we went on a treasure hunt at camp in groups. I had fun that day with friends. The second thing I liked about this camp is the Olympics we had. Which the Pink Panthers won. The third thing I liked about this camp is that we always went in the gym and played fun games. We would play kickball, knockout, whiffle-ball, soccer etc.…The fourth we did was that we went in the pool which was cool. And the best of all was the rockets going up in the air and floating back down.

My Favorite part was when we got in the pool. Because the pool was cool, refreshing, and fun. Especially when we had nothing to do but play, relax and cool off. Some of the games where fun but sometimes they were hard to bare. I really loved the pool time but really disliked 5 minutes off. The counselors were nice too! The Pool was the best. The pool was a water frenzy. That was my favorite part of Camp Blue Star !!! Nicky

Favorite Memory

My Favorite memory here at camp was on Olympic week when Sammi and I were in the diving contest at the pool. We were representing the Dynamites and came in 1st for that event. I got a final score of 28 Sammi had 30. All together we had 58 points! My next favorite event of Olympic week was the rings. I was in the deep end we got 8 rings and came in 2nd place.Well I guess you could say my favorite moments were on Olympic week in the pool.

My favorite part of camp this year was when I met Mr. Jim, Mr. Ed, Miss Stacey, Miss Bev, Miss Janelle, Miss Wendi. Another part I liked about camp this year was going in the pool. Camp was fun this year. I also liked the cove. Miss Stacey is my favorite counselor.
