Emergency School Closing

If school is canceled because of extreme weather conditions or another emergency, the decision will be communicated by the following radio and TV stations beginning at approximately 6:00a.m. on that particular day. All stations will broadcast school closing information by announcing our school district name, except KYW Radio 1060 AM which will announce district broadcast number -937.

New for the 2010-2011 school year is the possibility of delayed openings of school because of weather or emergency situations.  Please refer to any of the above communications systems available to you to find the latest news and weather updates for school closings or delayed openings.

Note: Any days missed during the school year for emergency closings will be added to the school calendar
